The genesis of this fountain was...Pamela's wanting a new kind of countertop for our kitchen. She had gone to the petrified forest when she was a kid and loved the look of all the petrified wood. Well...the countertop didn't pan-out, mainly because the polycarbonate that is soooo good for fountains can be scratched by a butcher knife. And so we decided to make a fountain out of it. It's actually one of the prettiest fountains we make with a look that is a mile deep.
